DD7 Direct Drive 7-Speed is being developed as a direct
replacement of the Cruise Drive Harley-Davidson® factory 6-speed
to improve it in many ways besides just adding another gear.
DD7 Features:
• Ease of finding neutral
• Smooth shifting
• No clunks or jerky shifts
• Utilizes ball bearing linear detent in the top cover that was
originally designed for the automotive O.E.M. (similar to the
Torque Box)

DSSC SLAM CLUTCH
DSSC is a complete RSD drivetrain system and is compatible,
without modification with Daytec, Rolling Thunder and similar
RSD Softail and Hardtail frames with zero engine offset and a
1/2” left tranny offset. The 1/2” offset is built into the inner
primary; no spacer required. DSSC is set up for 240/250 tire
applications using 1-1/2” belt. 280 and 300 tire applications
are possible with 530 O-ring and an offset sprocket.
DSSC Features:
• RSD6 6-speed gearset with 2.3” shorter mainshaft
• 43 tooth sprocket-basket with 9 friction plates
• 28 tooth motor sprocket; no compensator
• 88 pitch 428-2 double row chain

BAKER™ TORQUE BOX
• All stock H-D and aftermarket transmissions have a center
distance of 2.5”. By increasing the center distance 20% to 3.0” the torque conservatively increases the torque capacity to 250 ft.-lbs
• The Torque Box is available as a 5 or 6-speed, left or right side
drive. The 6-speed is identical to the 5-speed except for the addition of 2 gears and a different drum. The right side drive version is the same as the left except for the mainshaft
• Gear ratio’s R-Ratio 1st 2.75, 2nd 2.05, 3rd 1.55, 4th 1.18,
5th 1.00 and 6th .86
• All frame, starter and clutch interfaces are identical to stock
2.5” based designs
• 2 rail shift fork system with common fork used 3 times
• 2” diameter shift drum suspended by 2 radial ball bearings
mounted to a fixed spindle axis
• Ratchet pawl has overshift inhibitor (up and down) and is
mounted on 2 radial ball bearings. Shift lever shaft cross
sectional area is 65% larger than stock
• Frictionless detent system. A 3/8” primary ball bearing is
cradled by and rolls on 50 secondary micro ball bearings. In
turn, the cradle is part of a plunger that actuates during shifting
and is guided by a tertiary linear micro ball bearing system
• Ignition kill and neutral switches top mounted for easy dwell
timing adjustment
• Shift system lever ratio is 35% less than stock. Bearing mounted
shift shaft yields low system hysteresis, resulting in short,tight shifts
• Shaft material is 9310. Gear material is 8620. Very large
8.125 diameter pitch gear teeth. 2 times thicker than stock.
Tooth flanks are finished-ground after heat-treated
• Housing is all billet construction from 6061-T651 aluminum
